Trin's temperment is a dream. She has lots of drive, but is a comfortable dog to live with in our daily life. Her conformation is excellent, her movement has equal drive and reach. The "barrel-roll" is typy and pronounced.

Guinness added 2 Group placements during the month of June. A Group 3 was earned under judge Colonel Joe Purkhiser at Mountaineer Kennel Club. The very next weekend he earned a Group 4 under judge Barbara Dempsey Alderman at the Southern Maryland Kennel Club. We are thrilled for Jim and Guinness!
Guinness' handsome looks are surpassed only by his sweet and loving personality. At the 2008 IWSCA National Specialty, Guinness was awarded a Judge's Award of Merit. Since there is only one Best of Breed, one Best of Opposite Sex awarded at the National this is indeed high praise. In addition, Guinness obtained his Irish Water Spaniel Club of America All-Around title shortly after his second birthday. This is the IWSCA's way to recognize dogs who have type (must be a Champion), brains (must have a minimum of a Companion Dog obedience title), and finally drive (must have a Junior Hunter title). Knowing all of this -- my favorite thing about Guinness is his temperment! He is friendly, outgoing, and happy.
