Tiki

Tiki is a gem.  She charms everyone that she meets!  I had to leave her in an aviary for a couple of days and she managed to win everyone over. 

Tiki came to us from Dayton, OH.  She was no longer wanted by her owner and was placed with a rehome facility, Wings Over America.   I was looking for a bird and literally fell in love at first sight.  She is so gentle, sweet, and I just wanted to take her home.  Debbie, the owner of Wings Over America advised a "cool" off period, but due to the distance that I had travelled (6 hours) we were able to make it a shorter period of time vs. days.

I should note that life with an Umbrella is not always sweet.  She has a NASTY scream and she uses it frequently.  We're easy going and have adjusted to it.  As a matter of fact, we find it quite endearing -- the dogs (lead by Trinity) join in a chorus of howls.  It is quite entertaining.  Like I said -- we're very easy going.
